they take the jobs, they say nobody else want to do? no its that they will work under the table fro 4 dollars an hour, then they have 15 illigitimate kids and get welfare, wic, medical, and we have to pay for it. then we catch them spend millions a year deporting them and they come back up.

What? That's the new answer for everything the "illegals" this and that? Ok put faces on it if you must. Now are you saying that you personally, and an illegal were up for the same postition and the company chose them over you? If so what would that really say a lot. Also do you know for a fact that this person was "illegal"..? Do you even know any "illegals that have multiple children and are on welfare? Do you know that "welfare assistance" now requires the person to be working? That they must submit weekly statements from an employer each pay period? Some have the option and do go to school along with that. Being this is so chances are these people are not illegal at all. They too are Americans that happen to be down on their luck. As far as the children thing well, children are something American's are having a problem with now. The general feeling is most people wait and wait until they feel they "have their lives together"...Sometimes this is ok. Yet it causes other problems. Others choose to have and accept their new families even though it can be a struggle. People such as that will always keep dreaming. Meanwhile accomplishing things along the way. I work with a bunch of people driving fancy cars. Looking for a girlfriend who may turn out to "be the one"...meanwhile they are watching their lives pass them by. They want to "protect" all they've worked for. Truthfully there are too many who do not know what it is that will make them happy. We as Americans cannot be upset because others have found some happiness when they got a turn to be here. It's like living in a state that has the ocean and the locals never go to the beach. Then turn around and get mad when they see it loaded with tourists.....

The American dream is alive and well for those who want it. That is why the illegal aliens keep coming here. America IS the land of opportunity. The opportunity has changed though. No longer is the American dream available by getting a job with a big company and working there until you retire. Sorry, it is all being outsourced, downsized, streamlined. Today to achieve the American dream you must make your own way in the market place. By the way if you ain't a full blooded Native American you ain't from here either. We all came from somewhere. I'm far more interested in where someone is going than I am in where they came from.

I think it is funny in some ways that some white people get all irate about Mexicans coming here and working. When one considers what the Europeans did to the American Indians when they came, taking someone's job seems trivial. Now if the Mexicans were taking your home, forcing you to live in concentration camps (AS IN RESERVATION) and slaughtering whole towns women and children included maybe we would have a "right" to complain. As it is, given what our ancestors did to the Indians, I don't think we can beef too much about a few Mexicans taking away the lawn care, meat packing and roofing jobs.

- How about, "I'm the one creating my life. I'm responsible for the results. If I don't like what I've done so far, I can always change it!"
- It's easy to point the finger of blame. Too many fall prey to the propoganda that all of society's ills, everything that's wrong with your life, especially financially, is the fault of non-documented emigrants.

my grandma is more american then most of u people that call urselfs americans. and my grandma was born in canada. but she is a citizen. she took the test, then got married, she didnt get married for citizenship she took the test first. most of u illegals just get married... back in the old days they came here and took the test and were proud to be an american.
