section 8 is supposed to be a service for people with low income to be able to find housing with owners. they pay most or all the rent to qualified people. im trying to list my house with them .

Try Hud.gov...that is the federal agency that handles section 8

Why? Do you know what people on section 8 do to homes, apts duplexes? They trash them, bring down property values, depress the neighborhoods, they bring crime, drugs, prostitution, domestic abuse etc. Rentals in general tend to do this, section 8 makes it much worse. I have nothing against the poor in general, been there, but most people on section 8 are lazy, uneducated, and just don't care where or how they live. Nothing but problems.

Get in touch with your local Housing Project. They handle that sort of housing. Good luck.

you do know that your house has to be inspected and pass certain criteria before it can be accepted by HUD?
