use dawn dishwashing liquid---the plain blue kind
rub it into the stain and wash normally
do not dry pants until you are sure it came out

I just told another questioner about this great stuff I bought. M30 Stain Remover for like $1.50 at the Dollar General store. No Joke...this removes everything.
It comes in a little white tub with orange label.
You gotta try...

Try Shampoo....it is made to gently remove oil after all...
