Concealers are for covering imperfections. You can get flesh tones and also colors for this. If you want to conceal darkness under the eyes...a yellow tone is good. The yellow covers the blue case under the skin. If you want to cover red spots a green concealer works best...dab it on and the red dissapears. Or...just use a flesh tone if the problems are not bad.
A face make up is for the whole face...not to dot on like a concealer. They come in many forms...light coverage...med...heavy. Matte finnishes or with a shimmer. You have to determine what you want it to do for you...then choose the right foundation. Using a concealer first then the make up is best for a pollished look.
Oh...and a good rule to remember with face make up...a little darker is always more attractive than a make up that is too light. Good luck!

yes there is. concealer is used to help make red spots or darkness fade away. there are many kinds of concealer green helps cover red then you use a skin color concealer to cover the green. face foundation is well for youre whole face instead of a small area. foundation is a great way to have over all coverage but make sure that when you put in foundation you get the right color as well as blend it from face to neck so that you do not have any lines. a great website to help is covergirl.com hope this helps.

yes. foundation smoothes your face out generally, you put it all over, and it doesn't really cover hardcore zits. concealer is specifically for blemishes and undereye circles. just put a dot over the zit and blend.
if you want to use both, use foundation first, then concealer for difficult spots.

Yeah...like the person above said...
But if you have even moderately good skin...I recommend you use a tinted mouisturizer...and concealer in the difficult spots...because I don't know about you...but I hate wearing foundation...It's such a hassle to put on...and take off...
