Ignorance would be the core reason. People who hate don't understand the other person.

The core reason for people's hate toward one another is narrowmindednes. Due to the fact that all people have their own individual beliefs, ways of life, and cultures and due to this fact, we all disagree with one another thus causing severe tension between us. Also, Because some people share the same cultures, religions, etc. people either disagree with a small aspect of the culture or religion, shiite muslims vs. sunni muslims and democrats vs. republicans, and thus split up. Due to this constant splitting, the people of the planet are all in some type of club or group of people that is against anyone who believes differently. So basically, we as people cant get along because we are forever unwilling to accept the beliefs and traditions of other people.

I have found that people hate what they don't understand or are afraid of. Also I think people tend to hate things that remind them of their selves I am sure they don't consciously do this but I have seen and experienced it.

envy, we always want more, more and more. we can't see someone enjoyng of something we don't have.
selfishness, when we want something so much and we finally get it, time pass and we don't care any more, so we look for something else and so on, but we never stop a second to reflect on how beautiful and wonderful our lives are.
