In January 1948, Les Paul was injured in a near-fatal automobile accident in Oklahoma, which shattered his right arm and elbow.

He instructed his surgeons to set his arm at an angle that would allow him to cradle and pick the guitar. It took him a year and a half to recover.

Yes - he was in a car accident (I think) and had to have his arm set permanently in one position, so he decided to have it set in "playing position" for guitar.

lol some solutions are humorous, yet mine would be common and uninteresting. i in my opinion in basic terms began doing my S's like that, after seeing others do it, and that i theory it appeared cuter. it rather is rather it. i are conscious of it sounds silly.. oh properly.

yes he had a car wrec and had to have it sugery on it ?
