My class( very small private school, only like, 13 kids in 6-8th grade) has a movie night planned, and we cannot decide on a movie that is "appopriate" to the teacher, that we all agree on. A few of the kids (including myself) have seen like all the movies that appeal to us, and those who haven't have heard about them. No "R" movies, and funny ones, no horror or thrillers. Thanks!

Akeelah and the Bee - PG

Sky High - PG

Hookwinked - PG

Wallace & Gromit and the Case of the Wererabbit

The Princess Bride - PG - an older movie that came out before the class was born and they may have not seen it yet
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093779/

are all good movies for that age range.

My son is that age and also loved "She's the Man"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454945/
with Amanda Bynes pretending to be her twin brother (while he sneaks off to England to play in a band) so she can play in a soccer tournament, but I didn't like the aspect that the parents mislead their parents as to there whereabouts for two weeks.

An older movie the my son loved is "Big" with Tom Hanks - PG
