It has come to my attention that by answering various questions here on 'Yahoo Answers' that-- hummmmmmm, interestingly enough, I seem to be gaining deeper insight into my own inner self.

What's are your thought's? Do you or are you experiencing the same thing?

No, for me it is purely kicks. I came to the place in life you are experiencing a while ago. I just enjoy helping people and using my knowledge of the human psyche.

I do agree that by helping others, especially if you are honest, you will learn more about yourself. This is a phenomena I have studied for years. Amazing how you are more honest in here with complete strangers, than you are in daily life with people you know, isn't it.

I could go on forever, email me if you want to dive deeper on this topic. I have some pretty simple, but stunning observations on this one.

"Hi camoguntruck_lady!
I sincerely feel you're right about the deeper insight. Someone should have developed a specific IQ test for before and after ... maybe we could prove some advantage.
Of course, recognizing what some folks write about, it seems proper for organization, planning and execution to provide an adequate answer that makes sense to them. And it takes practice.
Oh by the way, I really like what you do for a living. I'm NRA and TSRA. I support all the dealers and 2nd Amendment rights.
Someone should sponser a bill to have all girls age 12 and older to take expert weapons training. She might meet someone who may need speedy lessons toward understanding what "no" means."

For those who make a sincere effort to provide complete answers, what you say is likely more true than not.

Making a real effort to answer any questions places the answerer in the position of looking at the premise of there answer. Possibly they might have to reevaluate their answer. Sometimes reading other answers provides new insight.

Clearly there are members who don't seriously try to answer, and simply blurt out some inane response. However, sometimes these types of answers can be informative in terms of demonstrating a general lack of knowledge.

Yep, it is truly wonderful experience ! Basically I wish to be helpful and "Yahoo Answers !" helps.
Second it lets me know how people think and how their points are worth consideration ! Then it is informative ! Some times I do try to influence opinions too, but it seems of no effect !
Still,this forum is Good/wonderful....

No. All I see is a site that has been hijacked by morons and malcontents (presesnt company excepted). It started out as a good Q and A but the feeble minded have turned it into a soapbox .

It is called writing to learn. Sometimes we don't know what we think about a question or an issuse until we are asked to articulate a response to it. That process of composing sometimes helps us to clarify exactly what it is that we believe, think, know, etc.

yeah, you get to see how different people think/react to questions. Some have no sense of humor and some have no sense. Very intelligent post Ms. Philosopha, keep it up.

i think it's more for peolpe like me to get a laugh from, because you don't really need to dig to deep in your thoughts to come up with a stupid answer... so basically speaking it's more of a live comedy show to pass the time.
