The biggest scams that I have seen involve "work at home" schemes where you stuff envelopes for corporations. In fact, the guy who does a spot on 20/20, John Stossel, wrote about this in his books. If you are looking for a good story about scams, Stossels two books are very good sources of information... and they are well-written and entertaining. They are "Gimme a Break: How I Exposed Hucksters" and "Myths, Lies, and Outright Stupidity".

Hello,
The first sign of a job posting scam is if the company has
1. A PO Box Listing
2. A 1-800 Number
3. They ask for an APPLICATION FEE TO PROCESS YOUR APPLICATION
If any of these ring a bell, then DO NOT DO THIS!
Thanks
