the questions i need help with are what chemicals or isotopes are used ats traces, to diagnose dieseases, and to treat disease, I now that radioactive idotopes do all of these but what specific thing does these induvidual things!! please help!!

Hi. One example is radioactive thallium. When injected, it tends to be taken up by muscles that are active, particularly the heart. This is used to find INACTIVE areas of heart tissue, areas which are not getting enough blood flow.

Barium is used as a radioactive trace. I think that is what you mean; hard to tell.
