How come after i downloaded a movie and it came in 50 parts in rar files when I went to extract pt1 it gave me an error that part 50 was corrupt or if I just tried to extract it would give me that message what am I doing wrong . This is my first time using this I usually get my stuff on rapidshare or limewire.
Give me steps on how to open a movie file after downloading or what to do?

Suggest u download utorrent

at utorrent.com

its much better, its very light

download the standalone

then search for whatever u like at mininova.org

If i am not wrong, you should also have a file with a simple .rar extension (not containing any numbers). Try opening that in winrar or 7-zip and it just might work. If part 50 is really corrupt, then you will need to re-download in any case.

Thats where utorrent could help since it allows you to re-download specific files of a torrent as well. Not sure if your client does that or not.

The steps you took to extract it were not wrong. When you attempt to extract an archive that has multiple parts, it will automatically extract ALL parts if they are in the same directory. However, by the sounds of things, part 50 is corrupt, which means the data it contains cannot be extracted.

Its just one of the reasons you should buy movies instead of downloading them.
