Who cares what Camus would think? That is if existentialism is your philosophy. Camus wasn't a real existentialist. He saw something he thought he could market and he did. He commercialized existentialism, and by doing such, he is really the anti-existentialist. Most real existentialists from the same time period actually did believe in God. In fact, Camus staunch atheism really upset the existentialist community.

I'm not going to do your homework for you, but think about this: Because Camus already didn't believe in God, if he accepted any self limitations, then the above question is ridiculous on the surface. He wasn't a transcendentalist. He didn't believe in rising above. He was an existentialist. So, negativity was basically his thing. That statement is way too positive for him.

Camus recognized the natural call in man to some sort of spirituality, and that without it the only way to justify existence was by action. So, it would be necessary to act as if everything was possible and to try to make it possible, no matter what else you were being told.

In the first place, we anthropomorphise the concept of God. If we can think of God as being the essence of natural law (cause and effect) throughout the universe, than there is no need to think of God in anthropomorphic terms.
Camus' existentialism is more like that of Sartre than that of Kierkegaard. Camus saw no necessity for God as God is perceived by most people.

Sorry, but in your report say this" If GOD didn't exist than everything else would not either"!!!! The BIG BANG THEORY does not make sense after seeing pictures of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as everything was gone! No life or vegetation or even a cockroach was alive

He already said it.

... morality is the ultimate aspect of God, which must be destroyed before reconstruction can begin. Then God no longer exists and is no longer responsible for our existence; man must resolve to act, in order to exist.
