It is so different in this day and age. I babysit for my two grand daughters and it's an emotional, not to mention hard job. I want to do good by them, i love them so very much and don't want to make the same mistakes i might have made with my own children. Do you agree that it's the most challenging job and it's harder than even ten years ago. As much as i love them, there is so much bad in this world, just makes me feel so humbled!

My sister has legal custody of two of her grandkids, and babysits another one during the day.
To me, this is insanity! How could the poor woman get signed up to care for more kids? She's done more than her duty--raised six of her own--and deserves to have fun in her retirement, not have to start the kid thing all over again.
I give you credit. I told my daughter that if she even thinks she's going to sign me up for full-time child care, I'll go out and get pregnant and leave a baby on HER doorstep!

NOT ME, BUT MY GIRLFRIEND RAISED HER GRANDDAUGHTER AND IS STILL HELPING OUT THE GROWN GRANDDAUGHTER WITH HER FAMILY NOW. SHE ALSO HELPED HER OWN DAUGHTER WITH SEVERAL OF HER MARRIAGES AND HER CHILDREN. SHE'S ALSO HELPING STEP GRAND KIDS AND STEP GREAT GRAND KIDS. THERE SEEMS TO BE NO END.
