Th earliest languages consisted of hand signs and body gestures. From there it evolved to what linguists call "glottal" languages which are found still in some places in Africa. They consist primarily of tongue clicks, lip popping and some rudimentary grunting.
Languages then proceeded to your Sino group, like Chinese and the various dialects. From there they greatly diversified into Germanic (which English is a branch of!) and then the various middle eastern and european languages. The so-called Romance Languages are French, Italian and Spanish, because they are Latin Based, and originated from when the Roman Empire rulled those parts of the world.
But the Huns and the Mongols were never conquered by theRomans, in fact they sacked Rome. That is why Germanic languages like English and German are still intact.
Oh, and I wanted to add: some people ar gonna say: "what about the native american languages? They were here before we were." This is true, but they are dreived from Chinese, sine the native americans came over here from China when there was the Bering Strait land bridge before it got covered by water.

After that, various 'Sub Races' & 'Branch Races' came into existence and developed other languages.

If you think that a language as needing a civilization to qualify it as one, I'd probably say what was spoken by the ancient mesopotamians. Sumerian.

I'd go with this as it would be hard to name and justify any language used by primitive man.
