I have retained lots of water in my calfs and ankles, Has anyone tried a diuretic that they would recommend?
I have tried cutting back on sodium and drinking lots of water through out the day but it seems to do nothing. Any help would be appreciated

I suggest you go see a doctor that's a sign of a renal problem if you're retaining water like that. I take this for water weight gain it's called Chroma Slim and it's got no added ingredients and has 55mg of potassium and this stuff will make you pee like a race horse, but still you need to go and see a doctor because don't rely on a water pill to fix the problem when that's a sign of a renal problem if you cant push the fluids out.

Don't just use diuretics freely as you may deplete your body of potassium and too much sodium, which is not good. Too little sodium may make you confused, and even lead to some psychiatric disturbances

All of the powerful diuretics are prescription only. There are several major categories: thiazide, loop diuretic, and potassium sparing. Thiazide is the diuretic of choice for hypertension. For edema, the loop diuretics are the one of choice.
