Ideally, you should stop using oral contraceptives three months, or for at least two normally occuriing menstrual cycles, before you want to become pregnant. But conception doesn't always wait for ideal conditions, and occasionally a woman becomes pregnant while taking the pill. in spite of warnings you might have read on drug inserts, there's no reason for alarm. statistically , there is no good evidence of an increased risk of fetal malformation when the mother has conceived while on oral contraceptives. a discussion of the subject with your practitioner should further relieve your concern.

That really depends on how long you kept taking the pills after you became pregnant. There may be some damage to the fetus but there may not be. I would recommend you go to the doctor ASAP and have them do an ultrasound.. I don't think that you would lose the baby since PLAN B, a drug women take to prevent preganancy within 3 days of unprotected, does not abort a fetus and even that is 4 times stronger than the pill. But get checked out. You will not abort the baby if you keep taking the pill.

If you suspect you are pregnant, you should stop taking the pill and ask your doctor for a pregnancy blood test. Long-term use of the pill while pregnant can possibly cause birth defects. I'm sure if you have only been taking it for a few days, no harm will be done. But it is better to stop now until you are sure and use a back-up method of birth control if you do not want to get pregnant.

i do not ignore that in case you're pregnant for confident, you're supposted to quit taking the pill immediatly. i'm no longer powerful abou this section, yet i imagine that the pill isn't supposted to really damage the toddler. I advise, in case you're taking it for 3 months once you get pregnant, you've some start defects. yet I continually theory that the pill businesses were careful about the start administration formula, because the probabilities are intense that maximum lady who've an unpredicted being pregnant received 't understand right away. i imagine that the pill businesses variety of anticipate you to take some days (or perchance per week or 2) of pills earlier you recognize your pregnant i'm no longer a doctor although, so do not take my suggestion too actually. the most proper portion of do will be to the contact your doctor and ask him. i desire each and every thing works for you!!!!
