We have been together 5 years, have two sons, a decent but not great relationship. I love him though. Anyway, I found out he was talking to and meeting this ex GF of his from way back when. He claims he is sorry and was just curious, and says now he knows I am the woman for him, and he want to go to Vegas soon to get married. I dont know what to think because I love him and my kids need their family, but at the same time he was going behind my back. What should I do?

marriage is a great thing and MY BELIEFS ( so back off ) you should be married to the father of your kids if possible BUT since this has happened, wait another year. Marriage IS NEVER easy, its constant work

I think if you have to ask, then NO. If you are already seconding guessing marrying him, you should dig deep inside and find out why. Don't get married just because the kids need their family to be together. When your kids are old enough to get married, would you want them to marry someone just because they are having a kid together? Didn't think so. Don't set the wrong example.
