You need to figure out why you get shy. If you like him, he should not make you shy. You should be comfortable.

dont be shy gril,just be real and be your self.if you like him you better make your move girl until someone eles get him.but i know hes a nice man but dont let him get away from you.the more you dont say anything the more your going to push him back.then its going to be like you asking him out and he might do it to you.so you might just say yes and just chill.
