I already have a ten month old. My husband and I were intimate about a month and a half ago but the condom broke. My period is currently about a month over due. When I took the test today and it came back negative. I felt relieved. Do you think it was wrong for me to feel this way?

I also have a history of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, so I am aware that there is more than the chance of pregnancy that my period is late

No cause you proably are not in the right time in your life and family to have another baby so soon. I was so happy a few times when the test came out negative. Don't put yourself down. When you do say to yourself "i am so glad it was negative" means you are not ready for another one (baby) yet..

Don't feel like that honey....Congrats on your baby that you had..Good luck

I do not think it was wrong of you to feel relieved but if your period is a month overdue and the pregnancy test was negative I would suggest going to the doctor because you may have something wrong with you or thier is a posibility if you took a home test that it was wrong or maybe you may have read it wrong.

My friend took two home pregnancy test and one came back negative and the second came back positive, both were taken on the same day in the same hour so the next day she went to the doctor and she found otu she was pregnant...Thier is always the posibility of a pregnancy test saying negative when you are actually pregnant.

If you have been worrying about being pregnant before your period was to come then it is possible you convinced your body you are pregnant which could of caused a missed period but I would still go get checked out just to be safe.

Not at all. You did not plan for another baby right now. Only you will know when you are ready. I am sure that you have your hands full with a 10 month old. Not to mention being financially ready. I have three kids and it's a lot of stress. I love them all but it's a hard job.

no your not wrong to feel that way i mean if your not ready for another child or the time isnt right its good that your not...but you should see a doctor to see why you missed a period who knows there could still be the chance that you are not trying to upset you im just saying you should find out for sure but you are not wrong for feeling that way at all.

No Kitty, it is NOT wrong. ANYone would feel relief if they had a 10 month old at home~
Re-test in two weeks if you have not gotten your period okay?
Don't worry, it causes wrinkles and shortness of tempers. Enjoy your lil one.

No..not at all. You have a 10 month old already. I'm sure it's over-whelming at times. Don't feel guilty.
Enjoy the one baby you have now!

No, it was a natural reaction and shows that you aren't quite ready for another child. When the time is right, you will know.

It's not a bad thing that you are relieved. But if you don't start soon I would see a Dr.

not preggo? Thats not a bad way to feel....you have a young child....you're just not ready. Why do you feel guilty? It's not like you had an abortion.
