Open a folder, like My Documents

Click tools then folder options

Click the View tab

Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types

Click Apply to all folders

click ok

In any Explorer window, click Tools, Folder Options, then the View tab. There should be a box named "Hide extensions for known file types". Unceck it, click Apply, OK.

My Computer - View - Folder Options - Turn Off Hide Extensions, just at the bottom of the window

gate? you mean get.. tools up top> folder options>view> untick hide extentions of known file types
