Has anybody seen LSUs defense? They have allowed only 7.4 points and 193.4 yards per game and a total of only 346 yards rushing all year. They also have the top scoring defense in the nation. Ohio St? Is everyone just starting to jump on the band wagon? Im thinking so.

Ohio State lost 9 starters from last years stellar defense. They are good this year, but it is pretty early, and hard to tell.

I just say we wait a week or two, there are some good games coming up and we will see who is who on defense.

The SEC is huge this week, and I believe that some major questions will be answered this week.

LSU @ Florida - The Gators start week 1 of 3 straight hellish games. I personally think LSU wins in the Swamp because their defense will be able to shut down Florida, so if they can muster a few TD's they win. Either way, pretty huge game here.

Arkansas @ Auburn - It might not have the heavyweight feel to it, but it's about as big a game as the FLA/LSU contest. It might be even more so seeing as how both teams are unbeaten in the SEC West, and the winner would have a big edge with the tiebreaker later in the season, especially if FLA can knock off LSU. Auburn at home most likely...

Tennessee @ Georgia - Another big interdivisional matchup here as Georgia starts their huge stretch of tough games. I think the Vols go between the Hedges and whip the thus far, very unimpressive UGA Dawgs. If Florida beats LSU, they will have their eyes focused on this one.

Hmmmm....I really dislike LSU, but I would say them right now. Although Ohio State is getting better by the week, so within the next week or two it will be Ohio State. Pretty impressive for a defense that lost nine starters. But like I said before the season started "We don't rebuild, we just reload"! Defense is what Ohio State does, people.

The Ohio State Buckeyes!

The Buckeye Defense (led by James Laurenaitis) is awesome! They still are not as good as last year's defense (with AJ Hawk, Bobby Carpentar, and Anthony Schlegal) but this defense does have more turnovers by this point than last year's did. OSU is looking strong! Go bucks!

Georgia is leading the country in scoring defense allowing a mere 6.8 points per game so far.

i am a buckeye fan and i am very happy with their young defense but they are definitly not the the best defense(although they are the best team).
