It's not very easy to get involved in the industry. First, you need to live where most production is taking place. In the U.S., that's pretty much the San Fernando Valley. Then you have to find a producer willing to hire you. If it's to perform, you must be over 18, HIV negative, and willing to use certain drugs like Viagra if you're a guy.
Pick up a copy of AVN Magazine. There are other trade publications, and they will tell you the names of various companies.
Don't think you can just do it yourself with a video camera and some willing friends. There are MANY legal procedures you MUST follow to ensure you and your assets won't be seized and arrested, such as pandering laws, interstate commerce laws, and an increasing number of morals laws that the Christian right is getting passed and on the books.
Do you know what 2257 is? You'd better, before you even think of turning on a camera. You have to show records and compliance with 2257 or all your property, equipment, computers, and even your home can be seized and you will forfiet any rights to recover them. Not to mention the jail time you'd be facing.
The FBI is cracking-down on adult producers at all levels, but the smaller ones are being hit hardest, because many of them can't afford the quality of legal counsel the FBI has.
I don't mean to discourage your dream, but the adult industry is JUST THAT - an industry, and it comes with a very large amount of rules and laws governing the production of adult films.
