Yeah and all that water is fake. Seriously, I think it's an island, but it does appear to be a large island and/or a network of islands. Bummer of a first episode, all we really learned is the obvious that the Others prefer Dockers and not those hilljack threads we have previously seen 'em in.

i think that they are on a island but it is not deserted like they think.
