Since this is under "theater and acting", I'll tell you a story.
I was working on a show in Los Angeles down on Hollywood Blvd., one of those 'store front' theaters, you know the kind.
I was sitting in rehearsal and the scene is about this woman who's been abused. Her boyfriend is in a chair just sitting there. She's in this night gown. She goes into a rage while eating a hard boiled egg.
She starts screaming, "Do you want to Eff me? Do you want to Eff me?" Naturally she said the word, not the euphemism.
Egg sprays all over the floor. During the scene I see the Biggest Cockroach I've ever seen, I swear he was carrying a lance and had horns ... scurry onto the stage and start munching on this egg on the floor.
Dude, it was ...creepy sick fascinating. And upstaged the actress easily ... man, that thing was Huge.

I don't scream and never have over a big bug. Most girls I know and have known don't scream over a bug. I just think I either need to get it outside of kill it depending on what kind of a bug it is.

I examine closely to see what it is. Unless there is a reason to do anything I leave it alone. If I know it to be dangerous eg in Australia I back off. If I have no choice eg it is in the room I am sleeping in, I will approach with flattened A4 paper, which blinds insect multilense eyes, then kill it humanely and dispose safely of body remants.Panic is inappropriate. I hope we never meet intelligent life from another planet: it will probably be insectoid and aesthetically challenging, as no doubt vice verse will be true. To them humans are all exposed organs. YUK!

Sadly, I fear the bugs. Usually, I freeze up and then yell for somebody to come kill it. If there's no one else around, I'll try to find something to kill it with. My apartment mate is more prone to scream than I am. Really, it's spiders that bother us. She squeals and I freeze. It all depends on the type of bug.

I either step on the bug or spray it with Raid. I never scream because of a bug.

i dont usually scream-only if its a really big and nasty bug, or a really scary spiders crawling up my leg. i hate spiders--they are sick!
i really think that most girls scream for attention, depending on who they are around, like if its around their crush...they might do it to seem more girly. it also makes the guy feel more manly and macho. its all an ego thing..with both guys && girls.
and some girls are just so stupid that they thinka little ant is gonna jump out and kill them. i guess it depends on the girl.
