Dennis Green is on the hotseat and had to try something to shake the team up. Sure, Warner is the scapegoat....because he can't bench his whole offensive line.

Yeah. Warner was playing like crap and Green had to do something about it. You have to feel bad for Warner though. This is the 3rd time in his career that he's been replaced by a young first or second year quarterback (Marc Bulger with the Rams, Eli Manning with the Giants, and now Matt Leinart with the Cardinals).

Much like replacing the helmsman after the Titanic hit the iceburg. But the larger question is, what are the Cardinals good for? It would be my guess that Bidwell hit on a great idea in St Louis - move to Phoenix and act as the NFL's only "host team". It works like this: nobody cares if the Cardinals win, in fact they'd rather see them lose, cause 90% of the fans are from out of town and they're rooting for THEIR team. So Bidwell can put together a team of chumps and still make big money. The Cardinals are like the team that played the Harlem Globetrotters. Just a bunch of stumblebums to make the real stars look good. Phoenix should have had its own team from the beginning. Not this interloper.

Kurt Warner is best served by having him help Leinart in practice and games. Leinart is the future and give him some time and he will be very good. (if given time to throw)

yes. the cardinals will have no chance of winning when Warner is turning the ball over 4 times a game. Lienart will struggle too as long as the Card's O line keeps breaking down, but he'll do better than Warner. Lienart is in a good spot too I think. If he does good then Green looks good and Lienart is a hero. If he does bad he still has the "it was too early" and O line excuse.
Even with the pressure though Lienart still looked more calm than Warner did

It's too early to know. Wait to see how Leinart performs.

We'll see in the next two weeks. It can't hurt trying something new. I feel bad for them- they play the Bears as a Monday night game in 2 weeks. It's going to suck being humiliated on a National broadcast!

Depends, If he is looking to the future and does not think they can win this year yes he did. If he wants the QB who gives him the best chance of winning THIS year, no he did not.

Yeah he's walking a fine line and he needs to do whatever he can to keep his team together.
