I'm scheduled for this procedure Oct 17, 2006. Brochure says it's not for people that have had an ectopic pregnancy, my doctor says it's ok. I've called Essure people, they are vague...Help, I just need a yes or no! My doctor doesn't want me on B/C pills because I'm over 40 (42).

I was going to have the Essure procedure but my Dr talked me into the Mirena IUD instead. I am very pleased with this IUD I barely have a period........no PMS or cramps. Was this an option for you?

I had my Essure procedure done yesterday and other than some cramping I feel fine. The worst part was anesthesia which I opted for but slowly I am coming out of that fog.
