my brother has been missing since 7/17/06 and we were just informed via letter from the social security admin. that he was reported deceased

put vital statistics in a search engine,from there,look up social security deaths.It should be free,but I guess it depends on what state you are in.That will show you dates and some info.Im very sorry to hear about your loss.Your family will be in my prayers.

contact the office of vital statistics of where he last lived and request a death certificate
