I like shakira but she doesn't have any vocal skills at all in another words(she can't sing)but i have to give to her that girl can move her hips!

Shakira is AMAZING. She has written all of her own stuff since she was 8 years old. She maintains an incredible amount of creative control over her work - from writing the music to post-production. That was unheard of when she first started, especially for a young Latina, but she did it. She has released over 80 songs (NOT just "Hips Don't Lie") and they are all beautifully written and well-performed. Her voice is distinctive and natural... not the product of expensive equipment. She speaks 4 languages. Plus, she's a humanitarian! She started her own foundation in Colombia for children displaced by violence.
Once again, she is AMAZING.

I would have to sya that i dislike Shakira. She can not sing and cannot dance but she can shake her hips. Shakira shall think she is all that, but other than that she has alot to learn. If Shakira wants some real fans she would act like the normal person she is, Instead, of acting like someone she is not just to make her on starlight. In other words Shakira should worry more about showing her real and true self- esteem and being the person she really is

I think Shakira's voice is distinctive and makes the song lyrics better. She has a lot of energy, can dance her hips off and seems to have fun when she is in concert. I think she is a good singer and I enjoy her music.
