Does anyone know what the vendors do with the sewing machines they use for demos at quilt shows? I was told that they sell them at really deep discounts because they are used. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks

Every few years, high schools sell theirs and buy new ones to replace them. Check with your area schools.

If I were looking for those, I'd first go to www.google.com and type "used sewing machines sales" into the search box that comes up. Hit Enter, and you'll get all sorts of information. Check out a few suggestions, then refine your search based on what you find.

I got my machine brand new at WalMart for just under $100.- so I didn't need to wait for a sale. Check them out, too. You might also want to subscribe to the JoAnn Fabrics sales flyer. They have Husqvarna machines on excellent prices from time to time.
