shouldn't the question be "how" Iraq has benefited, not "will"? They went from a dictatorship with limited rights to a democracy with all the civil rights they could ask for. They already have a better health and education system, along with improvements in water, electricity, etc etc etc. You can do the research on your own but its all out there.
As far as plans for the future of Iraq, what more can we do? As the old saying goes, "give a man a fish, feed him for a day. teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime" well we've been giving them fish while teaching them to fish. if they haven't learned by now they never will and we need to just turn our backs and walk away. as long as we are still helping them they wont take the initiative to help themselves.

No. No benefit except possibly letting the civil war happen and letting Iraq split up into the 3 countries its composed of.
Most of these ad hoc states created by fading empires after WW1
have no national identity, social cohesion, or viability.
Didn't England create Iraq out of the shambles of the Ottoman Empire?

Iraq has already started benefitting from our invasion. According to some of the military personnel I have talked to anyway. They have better schools and hospitals, they have more freedom, and they are getting a better form of government. They also will not have the problem they had previously with terrorists.

Liberty has seldom come to a people without the use of force. The war in Iraq is a stepping stone to freedom and prosperity for the Iraqi people.

They already have. Without Saddam and his goons terrorizing the people, there is a lot less fear than there was. We are rebuilding their infrastructure, something that wouldn't be happening if we had cut and run. Best of all, the religious zealots are being smoked out and destroyed, leaving the nation free to enjoy their freedom once all this nonsense is over with.

In the short term no. Iraq is on the brink of civil war, the economy sucks, and the people wat to govern themselves.
In the long term, if democracy works, things will settle down. And good things will happen.

Halliburton has, and that seems to be the only reason for invading Iraq so far!

It's NOT about a "war on terror" or "fighting for freedoms". It's REALLY all about THIS!...
