Dump him? If so, do it in the most gentle way possible, he will be hurt either way so maybe explain to him how your young and dont feel comfortable being in a relationship at the moment but would love to stay friends because he does mean something to you? Dont know really, use your imagination, just be nice!

Be honest to him. You are not doing him any favors and there is someone out there who dose care for him. He will get over it and find someone who loves him for him.
