It sells hamburgers that you can garnish the way you like.

It's big in Texas.

I agree that they're good, but the best? Hmmm... Matt and I went to a
>little place (that I now can't remember the name of) waaaaay downtown that
>had damned good burgers.

Well... a lot of good THAT plug is. Remember Dammit!

> Heck, even the Pilot's burgers aren't bad.

HA! Sure, there are a lot of good burgers in the city. FATSO's, Fat
PHIL'S, TRIOS etc... but the enjoyment I get at Fudruckers passes them all.
They're just different. They bake the buns, ground the beef, and "I" get to
put what I want on top the burgs MYSELF!

>And you don't have to drive 2-3 hours to get to them...

A meal should be an adventure now and then. It's an EVENT! It's something
to look forward to. Something to miss.

Obviously everyone's taste (pun intended) is different. For me, I love
Fudruckers. Hey; It's even on my HOME page.

A great alternative to In n Out Burger (the two best chain burger joints IMO). Unlike In n Out which has only red meat, Fudruckers has a lot of options for how you want your burger and you do dress it yourself, complete with A-1 Sauce! Whether it be to add fat slices of portobello mushrooms, or have an ostrich meat burger (ultra lean meat great taste), or have a buffalo meat burger (also lean, great flavor), or regular lean or fully fatty beef burger, you have options. And neat dining decor. I love it.

Fudrcukers is a hamburger place that has basically any topping you could want for your burger. It's cafeteria style, so you get the meat from the window and then put all the toppings on yourself. It's a really casual place!! And while you might not want to go there for a first date or anything, it's a pretty enjoyable place to have a good burger and a beer!!

Burgers and beer! It's been a long time since I've been to one, but at the time I found it inexpensive, and instead of railings to cordon off sections, they stack beer boxes. It's got a kind of original atmosphere. It wasn't totally memorable, but then again, that was back in 1991.

It's one of the best burger places in the Chicago area.

It is an excellent burger place! They used to have them in Southern Cali, but they closed down. I really miss them. you go in and order, then put whatever toppings on the burger you want. Its great!

Awesome hamburgers...the buns are the best! They even have jalapeno cheese that you can pump onto the burger yourself. Excellent fries also...I like to dip them in the cheese sauce.

Pretty good burgers. Get the jalapeno cheese sauce with your fries.

It's a fast food style restaurant. They don't have waiters, you get in line cafeteria style, so I personally don't care for that.

It's ok, but its not that great.

It is along the same lines as a Chili's or Applebees. Very casual and serves alcohol
