I got kicked out of my house a few days ago and I am staying with a friend. She won't let me stay here much longer. I need to know if there are any homeless shelters accepting people right now in or around the Dallas, TX area that I can stay at until I can get back on my feet? Or at least can someone point me to a website that may give me this information?

SWEETIE go to your local social services department they will have ALL the information you need to stay in a shelter and stay safe...I was once homeless myself and I know your aniexty but please whatever you do ....do not sleep outside it is not like it used to be .... it is not safe anymore....also some local churches have shelters....Also you can check with the State welfare system in Texas they will also or should know where you can stay safely....I hope you have good luck...GOD BLESS

Get in contact with the Salvation Army or some local churches, they will be able to point you in the right direction.

I'm in South Carolina. You can stay with my husband and I, no strings attached because I used to be homeless and don't like to see it happen again.
