It could be any of dozens of reasons. There are probably thousands if not millions of lines of programming code involved in Yahoo Answers as well as in your operating system and browser software. All must work in conjunction with each other and network code, executing handoffs and passing parameters. Occasional race conditions or deadlock is inevitable. Sometimes, when a person's computer is not beefed up with more SDRAM, processing power is slow, and there is not enough throughput in the time it takes for your browser to generate a web page with its images. Hence, they do not appear but instead display an odd 'X'. If you click Start--Control Panel--System, and, on the General tab, mine reads 2.19 GHz, 640 MB of RAM. This is adequate for my needs. If yours are considerably lower in both values, I would consider upgrading. Another factor would be the speed of the connection: high-speed Internet vs. dial-up.

this is unusual, you're no longer the only one having this difficulty yet i'm no longer having difficulty even nonetheless i take advantage of a picture from my 360 account. Hmmmm, perhaps this is have been given to do with which server you employ? we could continually ask around and notice if this is an AOL difficulty.

They have their own world they escape to,
but they can't stay too long because we
miss them, and gwiz do they have fun !!
Some like to ride on me flying saucer and
walk around my strange city walk.
Too bad the other dimension is for avatar's only !!
Because i would like to leave myself behind and
go where life is different & strange.
