And we're became real good friends lately and we always go out for coffee together and I;ve even been to his house in Miami. But we're JUST FRIENDS. We;re like bro and sis, but the prob is that here at college where we met he doesn't have many friends so its like everytime hears i'm doing something with one of my friends he wants to tag along and i don't want to hang out with him all the time! He gets on my nerves sometimes too cause he's too blunt about a lot of things and kind of snotty. I feelbad about thinking those things, but they're defects he has. Sometimes I don't know what to say to avoid him wanting to tag along. I feel bad? What should I do?

I don't know what to suggest here. I'm in a similar situation except reversed. My best friend is a girl who is like the younger sister I never had, but, wanted really bad while I was growing up. She's everything I ever dreamed this sister would be like. I also have a wonderful girlfriend who has become really close friends with my best friend. I often feel like I want to spend more time with my best friend than she wants to spend with me. I'm also newer in the area and don't know as many people as she does.

I guess the best thing you could do is introduce him to people and let him start to find his own niche. Introduce him to both men and women. I'm a guy who has male friends, but, my closest relationships have always been with my female friends. Why? Women are more sensitive and compassionate and willing to share these qualities. Guys are generally smart alecks around each other. Or, be a real "close" friend and spend more time with him. As far as I'm concerned, close friends and best friends should take priority over other friends.

that's like asking why does the sunlight arise in the morning, a lot of adult men do this .An previous woman as quickly as stated to me there is not any basically chum deliver between a guy and female, and that's notably much constantly the case. in case you do no longer desire that to take place basically shop him at hands length.

If you are really as good as friends as you say you are then why don't you be honest with him about his "defects"; and maybe help him to make some friends of his own. When you go out with your "other" friends, ask them to bring other people along too...maybe he'll "click" with one of them and make friends of his own. Then it won't seem as if he is always "tagging" along
