Most people when they are heavy drug addicts/use fake prescriptions are sent to prison or rehab.

Rush Limbuagh was not sent to prison, by a liberal court!

Shouldn't Rush be thanking the liberals for not sending him to prison?

Isn't it hypocritical that someone who hates liberal courts, was saved by one?

Yes it is hypocritical. Everyone with that much power usually gets away with more, right-wing or left-wing. I'd bet most first time offenders would get let off easy, though...

I think the guy is brilliant, but he's pretty much a Republican cheerleader. He's right most of the time, but too many times he puts party over principle...

I'm a Republican but I think the drug controlling tendencies that they (and the Democrats) posess are stupid.

Criminal court judges are generally ELECTED every 4-8 years...

Oh, and don't forget the long, long, long list of liberal celebrities who have visited the Betty Ford clinic... Were you thinking they went there because their shrink told them to?

Since I do criminal defense for a living, I can tell you that in my experience, first time drug offenders NEVER go to prison (unless they try to represent themselves).

the other night on msnbc, when the folley story broke, the pro right used excerpts from Rush's radio show, when rush was making excuses for Folley and laying blame on Clinton for getting head. Even msnbc didn't have anything good to say about oxy-rush.

its on of those examples of extreme right wingers being the ultimate in hypocrisy.
all liberal things are bad unless they benefit them. and then they take all they can get.
ever hear of a poor redneck not complaining about others getting help and turning down welfare and food stamps? oh, but they are for the kids.. yea yea and at 200 lbs she don't eat.

I think you have it backwards. Most drug offenders are not sent to prison, especially on their first offense.

Where were all the bleeding heart liberals crying about how he should be left alone, and given help? They were on t.v. being hypocrites, as usual.

Absolutely. The man's a hypocrite, by the way. He has never had anything but contempt for drug users. But he can do what his fat butt pleases.

You mean he was supposed to serve prison time for evidence, his medical records, which was illegally obtained? Don't we have something in the constitution to protect us against that?
