No. Eric Clapton isn't God. God existed earlier He created each little thing we can be conscious. this signifies that God has no beginning and that God exist contained in the unobservable. Eric Clapton has a beginning and is observable.

He can be a god - an idol to someone who thinks he is great, powerful, or to look up to but he certainly isn't GOD who is GREAT, POWERFUL and whom EVERYONE should look up to to SERVE and WORSHIP.
