I just recieved 2 discs in a row that were literally cracked and you could tell someone used like a knife. I am losing money because i'm barley getting 5 discs a month because i have to return them. I finally complained on the internet and asked for a refund or a few free months. do you think they will give me any? Should i call them too? Anyonelse have these problems?

i received a cracked/damaged disc too from Netflix. I am getting the cheapest rate $5.99. You're right. When you send them back it takes forever before they "credit"your account and send out a replacement or your next disk.

You may want to check into Blockbuster. Blockbuster is trying to compete with Netflix. Maybe they will give you a better deal.

I would complain. Try and see if you can get some "free" months. I bet if you decided to quit, they would give you an extra month.

I received a disk that was cracked. Another disk had horrible audio on it. Another disk had horrible audio and the video part was very dark.

See what you can do.

I'm a new member of netflix and have received only 3 disks so far. The first two look like they had never even been touched, while the third one looked like someone drug it across sandpaper. The disk that was damaged still played though thank god. I do notice there shipping guarantee isn't what they say it is. i get one movie every week and a half. I get the movie, watch it that night and send it back the next day and then wait for the next to show patiently.......someday i wont be so patient anymore though, lol.

Definitely call them up if they are ignoring you through email contact.....tell them its crap and you want your money back and cancel!

I've had that same problem, but on a much rarer basis compared to you apparently! My only beef is that their automated E-mail always states a replacement of the same title reported damaged, would be sent out immediately. In every case they've shipped the next movie on my que - only after I've shipped back the damaged disk. This forces me to re-add the damaged movie to my que for viewing another time! Not fun if your trying to follow a TV series on a set of DVD's in sequential order!

The only upside, where I'm living it only takes 1 day to ship to their receiving center, maybe 1 day for processing, and 2 days for the postal system to deliver something new to me - so 4 day turnaround. I had a friend living in a remote part of WA, where the postal system was about a week and a half slow - definitely a waste of money in that situation!

Because their online system is fully automated, were I in your situation I would definitely try to get ahold of someone over the phone! Good luck

Haven't had a problem with netflix I thinks it's better than Blockbuster. Yea they'll give u a refund because I had thought I lost one of their cd's and had paid for it but then I had found it not to long ago and they gave me a refund. I usually get my movies the next day when i sent it out. It's better to have them in queue so u get u're movies faster that way.

So far I haven't had much trouble with Netflix... I had one bad disc and they replaced it within three days....and that's out of about 70 movies I have gotten from them.

You do have alternatives available to you such as the afore mentioned Blockbuster on-line and other similar companies... you might want to give Netflix a call and remind them of that fact.

I have been a member for almost a year. The only problem I have ever had was once I got the wrong movie in the wrong sleeve. I have never got a damaged disc.

I feel asking for a free month is more then fair.

Used them and Wal*Mart before them with no problems for the last 2 years. Even when we had 2 bad discs, they promptly sent out another copy.

We haven't had any problems with them. We usually get a new movie 2 days, maybe 3, after we put the old one in the mail.

i have never had that problem but what i do have a problem is i have to wait almost 2 weeks from when i ship them back out to get new ones. isn't the commercial saying ships in a day? false advertising!
