WAR AND KILLING ARE NOT OKAY

I am so sick of these types of questions. NO ONE is FOR killing ... oh wait...lib ABORTIONISTS are...

In response to RLP, we were defending America when we went into Afghanistan, Iraq is something Bush wanted to do because Saddam tried to kill his daddy. Personal vendetta. And we are not Lib twits thank you very much. If that sounds like whining...then so be it...Sorry that we are questioning our government, and do not like where our country is headed.
But in response to the question...it is the conservatives who are pushing the war, not the liberals. They (liberals) were all for going into Afghanistan, but when Dubya wanted to invade Iraq, that's when the liberals started to speak out against the war. It seems like they are saying it's OK because how many times have we heard Bush say that the war in Iraq is a good thing for Iraq and the world? Our government wants to stay in Iraq, which in turn means more killings, both Iraqi and American people. It's conservative because it's the way THEY want it to be. It would be liberal if it's the way the PEOPLE want it to be.

I have to assume you are very young. Your question is frightening.
War, and killing is sometime necessary. This world has evil people in it. Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, etc.
Do you understand the concept of free moral agency?
This just means, every human is free to choose their actions. Unfortunately, some people do not choose what is right.
Conservatives don't "Favor War" They just know that it is sometimes necessary. That is called reality.
America has been forced to fight wars, to defend itself. This is the sad fact of history, and is not unique to America. Wars have been fought, and raged, since the beginning of time.
Liberal ideology goes something like this.
With enough education, and reasoning, we can stop wars, and evolve into a brotherhood of man. There is a BIG problem with this though. They discount the fall of mankind. They do not believe in a sinful nature, so they are not capable of seeing the problem. They are blind.
My grandfather fought in world war 1 . The death toll for 1 year of conflict was over 100,000 thousand dead Americans.
World war 11: Many relatives of mine fought in this war, even the Normandy invasion. Total death toll to America was around 450,000 dead Americans. The same time period we have been in Iraq, with only about 2500 deaths. Think about that.
Korean war- I cant remember for sure, but is was about 50,000 American deaths. War was fought from 51-53. Compare these death statistics to Bushes Misguided war. 3.5 years, 2500 deaths.
Vietnam war From early 60's, to 75, again, look at the death toll.. About 57,000 or 60,000. I can't remember for sure. I just know it is close.you can look the numbers up yourself.
How many liberals say that killing babies is okay? We have killed almost 40 million in America today. That is a hell of alot more than the 2500 who died in Iraq. Why is it okay to slay the most innocent among us?, but a crime for America to defend itself? Revisionist history is responsible for your confusion. Some liberals who have answered your question here, have forgotten alot. Do you remember that there were 12 years of useless U.N. resolutions against Iraq? Saddam was a problem that this president did something about. Go back, and read Bill Clintons statements about Saddam Hussein. I think you will find them interesting.

War is sometimes necessary, but wars of choice...well that's a whole other thing...no matter what they try to tell you.
