There is no one way a teenage girl should be when it comes to the size of her breasts. All girls start to develop at different ages. Just like all girls get their periods at different times. I started to develop breasts around 11 or 12. Some girls start earlier, and some later.

Likewise, some girls' breasts continue to grow all throughout their teenage years, and some girls' don't. Mine hardly grew at all. I'm now in my 30s, and I am still a size 34-36A. That's right, very small and flat. :( Unfortunately!! It just so happened that my genetics had small breasts planned for me. But I really didn't know WHAT type of bustline to expect when I was an early teenager. I just had to 'wait and see'. You and your cousin might end up with a very large bust, a very small one, or somewhere in between. :)

As for the period question -- I've noticed that my breasts become sore and tender, on some months, before my period. Sometimes they also become a bit swollen. This is totally natural and nothing to worry about. Well, unless a girl's (or woman's) breasts become SO swollen that she goes up a whole bra cup size! In that case, something might be wrong in terms of her hormone balance.

Anyway, I hope my rambling were at least somewhat helpful! :)

If you're talking about her breasts here are a some answers:
1. Your cousin's bra size is normal. Not all girls grow the same way. Some have them bigger while other have them smaller.
2. When a girl is on her period her breasts can get a little swollen and tender. This is why she may think that they get bigger.

Your cousin should talk to a school nurse or a female teacher that she feels comfortable with. This way she can get the right answers to all her questions. She doesn't have to feel shy about it because the changes her body is going through is normal.

it is normal for a 13 yr old to have small breasts, she is only 13. There are alot of younger girls these days that are more overdeveloped than their age should seem to be, so she cant really compare herself to everyone else.
They do get tender around period time and they look bigger because they are swollen, but no they are not growing only when shes on her period.
If she is wondering what size her breast will turn out to be, the best thing for her to do is look at her mother, & sometimes women on the fathers side. At that age you really cant tell what size they will grow up to be.

No, they don't just grow on your period.
And her size is fine, different girls have different sizes, my sister in law is 28 years old and I am 17 and I a 34C whilst she is only a 32A. At your cousin's age my breast were a B cup, but a lot of my friends had either bigger boobs or smaller.

Everyone is different...personally at that age I was a 36 B/C. She doesn't need to be worried about their size right now because they will continue to grow (and not only when she's on her period) until she's in her 20's

well, you didn't word your question very well, but if i understand correctly, your cousin wants to know if her breasts are too small?? No. she is 13, and thats perfectly a normal size for her or anyone. everyone is different, i know 25 yr olds with a cups. they will most likely grow more as she gets older. tell her not to worry too much.
