That's a loaded question, as it were.
Obviously, there are those who would disapprove of one or the other of these, but choosing between them implies that there cannot be someone who likes or dislikes both.
I have no problem with either one, actually. I do have a problem with "everyone" in these kinds of hypotheticals, however. It seems to imply that there is such a thing as "everyone" doing anything. Honey, we can't even agree on whether or not we should all be alive, let alone on anything more detailed than that. We are all different, and there are people who would not want the quarter ounce (could give it to me or you, I suppose), and there are certainly people who would not want the gun. (I'll let you have that one. I'll take the next one.)
I'm a Libertarian. I think people ought to do what they please, as long as they're not hurting anyone else.

The weed in their pocket.
This causes people to become mentally unstable.
The hand gun in the pocket of the majority of people would be a deterent for being attacked.
You cannot tar every one with the same brush.
The majority of people have a sense of responsability when it comes to gun ownership.
When one takes into account the millions of people living in America how many situations actually arise.
I would say remove the computers and certain movies from young people until they are old enough to discerne between fantasy and reality.
