Yes, I played 6 seasons in the minors in the Chicago Black Hawks system in the 1960s and went on to become a scout for 20+ years for the team retiring during the 1994-95 lockout

I particularly have performed hockey because of the fact the age of three in an somewhat league (have been given to play youthful because of the fact my mothers and dads knew some people) and have performed in view that then. i'm 17 now so I particularly have been enjoying 15 years (which contains the year i'm approximately to play this year). - superb sport there is in the international that particularly takes a ton of skills all mutually to be good at it. toughest, quickest, and maximum relaxing sport in the international. never will give up, as quickly as a hockey participant, continually a hockey participant.

Never played. I grew up in Arkansas where hockey was not a big deal at all. Then I moved to Dallas, got a boyfriend who used to play goalie (and like you wishes he hadn't of quit - he quit before he met me though, so it wasn't my fault), and became a huge Stars fan. I've actually encouraged the boyfriend to start back up; I'd love to see him play. I know he misses it.
Just because I never played though, doesn't mean I can truly enjoy the game. I've even impressed my boyfriend with my newfound hockey knowledge!

Just play on the local ladie's team 3x a week (later this month)... We've had the same team for the past 6 or so years and practice every Saturday morning & Wedneday night...
Adding it all up.. it seems like an awful lot of ice time!
But we try and work out the schedule so that we don't miss the college or pro teams play either!
Can't miss them!

I played right wing, D, and Goalie, go to www.arenamaps.com and check out your local ice rink. Don't be afraid to ask around, there is always pick-up hockey fri or saturday evenings after the kids go to bed. From there you will get to know the coaches and move on to more competitive leagues. there is a lot of info on that site, but the most accurate will always be at the rinks itself or your local specialty hockey shop. Don't stop playing!

Most of us Canadians play hockey. Its like asking someone from Texas if they've ever played football.

Is there anything wrong with having my hand down my pants?
I've only ever played street hockey, but we had ourselves a serious set up ;) Can't skate to save my life (or perhaps not skating IS saving my life!!)
