1 pound=16 ounces
$13.20/0.44 ounces=$30./ounce
30x16=$480/lb

1405 ft = 16860 in (+1 3/4)
cutting 1/2 inch slices gives approximately 33720 slices

For the bread, multipy 1,405 x 12 to get the number of inches. Add the 1 3/4 in and divide by 1/2. Round up or down.

For the truffle, divide 13.20 by .44 to get the price per ounce and then multipy that by the number of oz. in a lb.

16 ounces in a pound, 16/0.4 = 36.363636 repeating which is how many cans in a pound, 36.363636 times $13.20 = $480

1,405 ft = 1,405*12 inches = 16,860 inches, plus 1 3/4 inch is 16,861.75 inches in the loaf. Obviously there are twice as many half-inches as inches, so there were 16,861.75*2 = 33,723.5 slices.

So the pound of truffle costs $480 and there are 33,723 1/2 slices of bread.

1. 480 16/0.44x13.2

2. 33124 1405x12+2=16882*2(for half inch slices)=33124 The last slice would be only be quarter of an inch thick, but it's still a slice

1.) 13.20/.44= x/16

480

2.) it would eventually turn into 16899 inches, so divided by 1/2, would be: 33798....

hope that helps or rather, hope it is right!!!
