One way is to clear the temporary internet files. Go into control panel, then internet options and click delete files under temporary internet files.

Another way is to check for spyware. They slow down computers. Goto www.download.com and download spybot s&d and also ad-aware se - both are free. They will help get rid of spyware on your computer so it can run faster.
