I still have a hard time with the whole concept. Why would anyone want to live on a barren world, where death at any time from the smallest error is your constant companion? There are so many beautiful places on the good earth that don't require multi million dollar space suits to walk around.
I know, there have been many discoveries of science dur to the space program, but I think we have to learn to live in peace before we go and ruin another planet.

Why would you live in the moon? All the nice stuff is on earth. If you don't like the place where you live just move to another nicer location. It'd be cheaper than going to the moon.

No question we can live on the moon....once we build a station that provides water, oxygen and food (the station will depend on Earth).

It won't happen in our lifetime so I'm not worried about going. But I'd definitely want to visit if I could!

No way....because the suckers that pay or volunteer to go 1st will have to work out all the glitches that will surely come from living on another planet. Problems with water, air, food...etc.

I'd say, let them live there for 5-10 years, relatively problem free, then maybe, I'd like to visit...but I would NEVER want to live there.
