You cannot mail in a Not Guilty plea. You have to prove your case. Call the DMV.

Search the internet for your state's drivers license bureau. It will give the link. Here in my state, I can renew, ask for replacement for a lost license and so on. Good luck, here the stations are always so crowded. Internet is much better. Once when I had to get a new picture, instead of standing in line for 6 hours, I went to a smaller area outside of my city, and was in and out in 15 minutes!!!!

I just went thru the same thing, although with NJ. Do a New York State Division of Motor Vehicle Search, and the web site should give you an option of checking your drivers license number

nothing is wrong with walking up to a cop and adsking him if your license are suspended.. but i wouldnt drive up and park next to him and ask... or go to the police station and park a few blocks down and walk in and ask... or even call dmv and ask.. you might have to go in physically for that.. or buy a driving record for yourself for no more than 10.00. :)

Run a red light right in front of a cop. When they pull you over say, "Now that I have your attention, could you please check and see if my license is expired?"
Don't wanna go that route? Head over to DMV and they'll let you know!
