i guess you are using windows utility disk management, there you deleted the partition and want to add it to C: partition. But this utility won't allow to do this without reformating the drive, you need to use 3d party partition progs, like partition magic or disk director. yes, i know they cost money, and i think you will agree with me, i hate spending money on progs which i'll use only a couple of times, and some additional utilities which came with is very good, so disk director has such, for example os selector(boot manager) or recovery expert(recover lost partitions), so i think you understand what i want to recomend you:)

Your C drive is a hard disk drive for storage, not memory.
