I am very thin and have a very fast metabolism, and my mom said she did too... The only difference in my body is that i have a bigger bum than she did at my age and i exercise a lot, which she said she didn't as much.... But now she's wobbly and not thin at ALL, being 56 and having 4 grown children... Will I probably have her body??

METABOLISM DOESNT LAST FOREVER.
if you want to stay thin, after having children you need to continue to stay active. the reason women gain weight after children is not only baby weight but because they dont have time to eat right and work out. its hard. but if you are so worried about it, stay active and eat the best you can. you will never look the same after having kids, but you dont have to be over weight. its an up hill battle. you have to have the drive.

Your question, I think, is whether your figure will deteriorate from having children. Yes, probably at least a little. But it does not need to go to ruin entirely. The difference is it may take you a little work to keep it running smoothly. With your current conditions, you have no trouble staying slim, but your hormones may well set you in a different mode once you have at least one child. The trick is to pay attention to those changes and adapt to them. Maybe you will need to get a little more exercise, or maybe it will become a little harder to get that exercise -- run after a two-year-old for awhile, and you will stay in reasonable shape.

People change as they age, even if they don't have kids. Certainly kids change things, but that works to the good as well as to the bad. For example, most of the people I know who have kids have a much more flexible and adaptable attitude. And they are kinder and more compassionate. They also tend to be much less selfish and demanding. So relax and enjoy life, and don't try to predict every bend in the road.

You might because of genetics, but you also might not if you eat a diet low in fat, lots of vegetables, fish, and lean meats AND EXERCISE. The human metabolism only gets slower as we age, and this means that it gets harder to stay in shape or lose weight as we get older.

You also should visit your doctor because having a very fast metabolism isn't very good too. You may have a problem with your thyroid, so go get it checked out if you haven't already.
