"If Heaven" by Andy Griggs, read the words, and you'll know why.
If heaven was an hour, it would be twilight
When the fireflies start their dancin on the lawn
And suppers on the stove and mammas laughin
And everybodys workin day is done
If heaven was a town it would be my town
On a summer day in 1985
And everything i wanted was out there waiting
And everyone i loved was still alive
Chorus:
Dont cry a tear for me now baby
There comes a time we must all say goodbye
And if thats what heavens made of
You know i ain't afraid to die
If heaven was a pie it would be cherry
Cool and sweet and heavy on your tongue
And just one bite would satisfy your hunger
And ther'ed always be enough for everyone
If heaven was a train it sure would be a fast one
That could take this weary travler round the bend
And if heaven was a tear it'd be my last one
And youd be in my arms again
Chorus:
Dont cry a tear for me now baby
There comes a time we must all say goodbye
And if that's what heaven's made of
You know i ain't afraid to die

Wow. that's so weird you should ask that. I was thinking about that as I drove home from work today. (I know I'm a weirdo). Anyway, I really love the song, "Flying Without Wings". I think it kinda sums up my outlook on life. I would like it played while a slideshow of me with various friends and family plays.

Spirit in the Sky. I forgot who made it but I love that song and I do want to go to the place that's the best! I really don't want people mouring me for too long, I don't even cry for a few members of my own family sadly.

Go Rest High on that Mountain - by Vince Gill, sung by one of my friends if possible.
That song has always touched me, has a peaceful tone to it, just says goodbye.

I want Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers played. I really don't want a funeral though, but that's my all time fave.

I want the song "Everloving" by Moby played at my funeral. There's no lyrics, but it's a beautiful piano song.
