i need to know if vet jobs are needed for my school report

you do mean vetrinarians right? i probable spelled that wrong, anyway, of course they are, who else would take care of all the animals that need help or shots or medications for stuff.....they are probably more needed now than a few years back , because people baby their pets more than they used to. YES

Yes. As more and more people have disposable income (usually the rich and spoiled cretins), they will look to buy an animal and spoil the animal like a child. They will become so emotionally attached, that a good vet in the right area can become quite rich themselves.
I love my dogs, and when they pass on to the Great Dog Run in the Sky, I'll bury them in a pet cemetery. However, they are dogs, not people. So I don't get the whole dress up thing for dogs.

with as many pets as people have these days, of course vets are needed. Both in the small animal as well as large animal worlds. With out vets, there would be thousand of animals dieing every day.

Vets are needed alot. Animals need doctors too.
